But we now want to reduce emissions by at least 40% per vehicle from 2019 levels by 2030. This includes the entire lifecycle – supply chain, production and use phase.
Circular Economy.
We approach everything we create with circularity in mind.
That means extending the value of our products for as long as possible, using fewer resources and putting products that have reached the end of their lives back into the production loop. We have increased the share of secondary materials and returned end-of-life vehicles to the raw materials cycle. We are adapting our vehicle design so more can be easily recycled. We have improved recyclability and the second life for batteries.
Supply Chain.
We are reducing waste, energy and CO₂ emissions per vehicle throughout the life cycle to realise our vision of a purer dynamism.
