Series improvements or vehicle recalls are measures based on design or manufacturing tolerances, which can affect the safe operation or the quality of the vehicle. Of course, we feel responsible for the quality and safety of our products. For this reason we have set up a search function.
You can use this to check yourself whether your vehicle is affected by such a measure. If so, your MINI partner will be happy to assist you at any time; there are no costs for you.

What is the VIN?
Every vehicle has a unique vehicle identification number (VIN), which always consists of 17 alphanumeric characters.
Where can I find my 17-digit VIN?
1. In the vehicle:
- Dashboard
- Door frame
- Engine compartment
- With the spare wheel (if available)
